The Last Five Years

Written and Composed by Jason Robert Brown

This emotionally charged musical tells the beautiful tale of two lovers over the course of five years. The ups, the downs, and everything in between.

Cathy and Jamie's story is told from each of their own perspectives - with Cathy's narrative starting at the end and going back in time, and Jamie's starting at the beginning. The songs are heartfelt, funny, relatable, and bittersweet - from upbeat, funky rhythms to heart-wrenching ballads.

We're thrilled to announce that the role of Jamie will be played by the brilliant Simon Radford (Assassins, Sweeney Todd, Into the Woods, The Buddy Holly Story), who will be returning to the UK to bring the part to life.

The show will play at Theatre@41 in Monkgate, York from 9th-12th November 2022. Plans to tour the show to other venues within Yorkshire are currently TBC.
